What I Loved in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

Shaad Ali's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom sank last year, perhaps more than a tad overcriticised for a whimsical, jolly film that didn't really take itself too seriously.

The film itself wasn't really memorable, but what didn't leave me after watching it was this beautiful song sequence in it- almost a film within a film, and most definitely, an enchanting love story. It proved why Shaad Ali is truly a director with a distinct voice, and one here to stay.

Presenting, for your viewing pleasure- Bol Na Halke Halke.
